GDSN Project Manager s responsibilities will include the following:
  • Coordinate overall project and task level activities related to GDSN across both US and GCC
  • Maintain viable project plans, status reports, issues and risk lists, and leadership metrics in alignment with the Serialization program s standards.
  • Through conversation and meetings, drive, monitor and report on milestones, forecast risk, and escalate concerns in all aspect of delivery
  • Ensure proper alignment and deliverable reporting to key enterprise leaders escalating issues when required.
  • Work across business teams, development teams, and the serialization program to insure project delivery per plan.
  • Anticipate and properly escalate issues to leadership related to delivery milestones and project activity
  • Collaborate successfully with other groups and program resources
  • Publish routine metrics to leadership surrounding delivery and established plan

General Skills:
  • BS or MS in Systems or related discipline
  • 5+ years of pure project management experience
  • Experience managing complex projects in a collaborative environment
  • Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) implementation experience
  • Experience supporting release management activities in a GMP regulated environment
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Highly team-oriented
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels within an organization, including diverse cultures
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to execute and adapt to a fast-changing business environment

Technical Skills Required
  • 8+ years of industry experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech
  • Experience in a GMP environment with knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical Design/Build/Commission/Validate and Support processes
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Microsoft Project expertise
  • Familiarity with ITIL Software Release Management Processes and Best Practices including planning, testing, and deployment
  • Experience with software release deployment across validated and non-validated environments
  • Proficiency with Word, Power Point, and Excel
