  • We are looking for someone who has experience implementing this product, preferably in version 9.2 and in higher education.
  • The candidate should be able to take on a lead functional role.
  • The candidate will serve as the functional project manager.
  • They will develop a project plan with the goal of having up and running on the module in time for open enrollment in the October/November timeframe.
  • They will work with HR to assess the current benefits enrollment management processes and rules in place.
  • They will work with HR management to define the scope of plans to be included in the first open enrollment.
  • They need to be a problem solver.
  • They will assess the fit between processes and Benefits Administration functionality and identify any issues that would prevent from implementing the product.
  • They will document the issues and work with HR management to define solutions to the problem.
  • If a new business process is required or a change to an existing process is required they will work with HR management to define it, model it, document it and ultimately make sure it is put into effect.
  • They will review delivered eBenefits pages with HR to ensure that they meet requirements
  • intends to deliver vanilla functionality so in the event a page is found to not adhere to current processes, it will be documented and escalated for HR management review.
  • The objective of the review will be to determine changes to business processes to allow to use the page as delivered.
  • They will take a lead role in defining new business processes that relate directly or indirectly to this implementation. For example, if changes in payroll processing are deemed necessary, they will define, document and assist in the implementation of the new processes.
  • They will work with HR and the benefits department to meet with benefits providers and coordinate all activities associated with any changes that will need to be made to the interface processes between the provider.
  • They will deliver specifications for interface changes to IT to facilitate the new interface processes.
  • The candidate will be responsible to work in a test system to make all the configurations needed to implement the module for the selected benefits plans.
  • They will work with HR to develop test plans and will coordinate testing with IT, HR, vendors, and users.
  • They will work with available software tools like Jira to track testing issues and will coordinate all activities to ensure all critical issues get resolved.
  • They will work with HR to develop an implementation plan and assist in the delivery of the plan
  • They will work with HR to develop training plans and materials and assist in the delivery of the training.
  • They will work with HR to develop a resource to work in HR who will serve in the role system administrator of the new system. The person being trained will be responsible for the day to day operations of the benefits administration module and all related processes.
  • They will convene a weekly meeting in HR to review status or the project, they will provide weekly status reports and maintain an issue and action log of all activities.
  • They will run the first open enrollment providing hands-on training to appropriate HR resources.
  • They will support HR through the open enrollment.
  • They will provide support through the first weeks of January to ensure that the changeover is successful and all interfaces and enrollment changes are processed correctly.
  • They will provide support for life event processing to ensure all configurations work appropriately and all systems behave correctly.
