Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for maintaining Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers as well compose complex queries
  • Develop and maintain legacy Oracle Forms application
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining production reports
  • Responsible for ensuring that best practices are followed for coding using the defined architecture for the enterprise application and portals
  • Ability to follow current architecture and build similar products
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing and creating solutions to maintain current business processes as well as enhancements in the Oracle Database and ETL batch processing
  • Participate in maintenance and updates to existing applications as requested; including updates of content that supports a rules-based delivery of web elements and data integration
  • Work directly with the project lead, project managers and analysts, occasionally speak with customers for requirements clarification
  • Candidates need to be a self-starter and able to work both individually as well as within a group setting

  • Associate or Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years of experience with the Oracle PL/SQL queries and stored procedures is critical for success
  • 5-8 years of experience of SDLC and deployment strategies is required
  • 2+ years of Database Architecture and Data Modeling design
  • 3+ years of experience with source code management tools (Bitbucket, VSS, Subversion, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Forms and ASP.Net is preferred

Preferred experience:
  • 3+ years of full-time, professional experience in a healthcare or related enterprise related to electronic enrollment or claims processing
  • 1 to 3 years health insurance, employee benefits, or healthcare industry experience is preferred
